He holds leadership positions in the UK, US, and Scandinavia, as well as international non-executive roles. With deep expertise in business strategy and M&A, he is adept at leading businesses through periods of challenge, change and growth.
Lloyd Vaughan
Chief Operating Officer | LinkedInLloyd leads on implementing agentic automation and AI platforms, taking our team through technological change, ensuring we continue to deliver at scale while maintaining the standards regulated firms expect. He has led change programmes at financial services firms like Tesco Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, and Standard Life, and was an adviser to the Scottish Government.
Luke McKinney
Director of Consulting | LinkedInLuke leads our consulting team and oversees our AI service design practice for regulated businesses. His career has focused on enabling transformation in financial services, from retail banks to PE-backed wealth and insurance firms. He is a Visiting Lecturer in Design Innovation and Service Design at the Glasgow School of Art, and advises Heriot-Watt University on strategy.
Moritz Dinger
Strategy Director | LinkedInMoritz provides strategic direction for many of our biggest clients. He has more than 20 years’ experience across consulting, financial services and technology. At Mastercard, he built and scaled the resilience and risk function, protecting critical national payments infrastructure. Before that he grew PwC's experience consulting practice and built a new service design capability at Capita, spanning government and financial services.

She has a proven track record of building high-impact talent ecosystems, shaping organisational capability, and embedding people strategies that enable growth and performance in complex environments.
Consultants
Alexa has more than 15 years’ expertise leading research for clients such as NatWest, Hargreaves Lansdown and RBS International. Building on a PhD that explored conversational agents in financial services, she turns rigorous, inclusive research into decisions regulators and customers trust.
Calum leads delivery across Nile's regulated-sector portfolio. He runs experience-layer and service design programmes for banks and insurers, and provides oversight on major projects, ensuring we deliver outcomes with the high quality and pace that our AI-driven consultancy enables.
Neil began his career as a UX designer at IBM, and has been with Nile since before we were called Nile. Experienced in wealth management, commercial and retail banking, he leads delivery of AI-driven product vision and strategy, integrating human judgement and adoption into complex, regulated workflows.
James leads strategic design engagements across insurance and banking clients. He turns ambiguous business problems into propositions client teams can build and adopt, from service design to AI-driven customer experiences.
Jamie specialises in strategic design and process improvement, helping company leaders judge where AI belongs and turn operational complexity into practical, lasting transformation that sticks.
Katherine leads our Responsible Change practice, building inclusive design and ethics capability with clients like NatWest and PayPal. She has a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape, turning regulation like Consumer Duty into practical decision-making teams can act on.
Lucy leads research and proposition work for our wealth, pensions and insurance clients, including running archetype and market-sizing studies, customer co-creation workshops and rapid testing that shapes new propositions.
Tiernan specialises in designing complex products across insurance, lending and business banking. He combines product strategy, interaction design and coded prototyping to turn specialist workflows into clear, shippable experiences.
Kay's expertise spans retail banking, payments and asset management. She translates complex regulatory challenges into accessible, trusted digital experiences that customers and compliance teams both believe in.
Turning rigorous research into journeys customers and regulators trust, Rachel has shaped suitability reviews and client onboarding for wealth managers and lending journeys for business and institutional banks, grounding every design call in human behaviour.
Lewis designs the screens specialist SME lenders use to make decisions. He has rebuilt broker portals and credit application journeys, and knows the gap between how a workflow is specced and how underwriters and relationship managers actually use it.

An experienced designer and consultant, Robyn owns senior relationships across Nile's regulated enterprise accounts. She connects client ambition to Nile's delivery capability, growing engagements from first conversation through to sustained partnership.
With cross-sector experience in marketing, brand, PR, and corporate communication, Taras translates the insights and outcomes from our work into a clear, relevant market position.
AI & Tech Enablement
Callum leads on product and proposition, with expertise delivering GenAI voice-first interaction for the credit industry, plus risk reporting and risk management for international banking.
Ellie's expertise spans AI enablement, prototyping, and capability building. She leads Nile's AI Academy and uses her judgement to decide where AI-driven solutions deliver the most impact, building a sustainable, AI-native Nile.
Drawing on experience in start-ups, scale-ups and the financial sector (JPMorgan), James pairs traditional software engineering rigour with agentic AI to build enterprise-grade systems that hold up in regulated sectors.
Roman builds the technical backbone of Nile's AI-enabled discovery, research and prototyping work, turning frontier AI models into safe, deployable tools client teams can trust.
Operations
Ellie leads our finance function, overseeing commercial planning, budgeting, reporting and financial controls that keep our business healthy as it scales across a growing client list.
Laura is Executive Assistant to Nile's leadership team, coordinating and providing operational detail that keeps senior decision-making moving smoothly day to day.
Hailing from Philadelphia, Lindsay builds culture and connection within our team and externally. A Fulbright Scholar, she holds an MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology from Strathclyde Business School.
